Loud Outlets

The pic above is what my oulet covers all looked like, they really looked out of place and it was the first thing I saw when I walked in my awesome kitchen. I came up with the idea of painting them to match the tile... yes it took awhile, I laid on my counter and even hovered upside down sometimes to get this project completed...lol

Finished six now I have three outlets and one light switch on my project to be completed list!

I started with a ruler and pencil to mark the flow of the grout on the cover.  Blended my paints to match the grout, to give me a border for each tile. Then I slowly painted the outlet cover, over and over again until the switch matched the tile that laid behind. I did find my tiles didn't match as well if I took them off the wall, so I left them sitting on the outlet without the screw in place. After I was satisfied I took the cover off, and sprayed clear coat over it to seal the paint. (outside of course)

Now they look like they belong there : )
