My Ribbon Organizations
I have tried all types of ways to organize my uncontrollable ribbon collection. The little plastic containers with the holes, the clear vinyl bag with the holes all around the outer edges, even the catch all containers, hooks holding dowels full of ribbons -that always fall off....bad idea! But the other day I thought I wonder...
I took the dowels out of my art closet and and sawed notches in the ends of them. Drilled two screws very high on the wall...in studs of course. Tied a piece of twine type of rope, to each screw. Then I ran the rope down the wall and slid the dowels on evenly, tying a knot at the bottom of each to stop the dowels from cruising down the rope, with the help of gravity.
My hopes are to add dowels if I need to. But these can come off so easily and be place right back on in a couple seconds...love love love!
