Pinterest Carmel Experiment - Fail

I have been dyeing to try this with sweetened can milk. My family love caramel and it always take so long to make or melt down, I was thrilled when I came across this beauty of a simple recipe!

So per the instructions....crockpot on high, 8 hours. Everyone was excited when I announced it was done. My hubby got the first taste....

And well lets just say it wasn't love at first taste. It smelt wonderful, looked just like caramel and at first sample it tasted like it too. But then the after taste of condensed milk was so strong and pungent, it is the biggest fail in Pinterest recipes I have ever done.

Such a let down, if you love condensed milk, can eat it out of a can...this is for you! If not, stay clear and save your cans for baking and make some fudge!!!

Waiting at the High School

Oh my!

While waiting at the local High School I saw this occur!

Can you believe it this child set there and slowly emptied the car of all of its garbage. I called the school and let them know this was going on...maybe send someone out and have the little gems pick it all back up. And nothing... no one came out and the twirps drove off with this pile in the lot and then all the little lovelies coming out of the school kicked it and so sweetly spread it all over!

Let the spring cleaning begin!

I am so tired of the winter blues. Maybe if I start to organize and deep clean, it will trigger some springness!!!

1--First I attacked the pantry. I forgot a before on this...sometimes, my brain. Anyway, I found sheets of plastic at walmart in the fabric, it is by the picnic plastic rolls. I lined the shelf with plastic and now it is so wonderfully clean and organized.

2--The awful always avoided, unless I have to junk drawer. As you can see mine was so out of control. I was shoving things in just to get it to close and now "awwwwwwe" organized and clean that is so awesome!

Christmas at our house

I tried to load the video of our frontyard but it just isn't working. So here are the photos of our tree, front door and Christmas Dinner.
It was such a sweet Christmas. We went up to Afton early to my inlaws. So good to see everyone. We talked and talked and talked some more. Love my Lee family so much!
